Since I am trying to learn photography and be really good at it, I have found some very good links to achieve that goal. I usually try to find out what I am doing wrong and tricks and tips to improve on what I am trying to do.
http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech.htm ***** 5 stars
Ken Rockwell is amazing. His guide on using the D80 has helped more than anything. An essential resource for buying equipment and learning the real basics of shooting plus a lot of very helpful advanced stuff. Really good car reviews too.

This is a fun site and it gives you some very good money saving tips. The only downside is that I haven’t figured out where to get most of the raw material they suggest. Looking for help in this arena. Great site regardless.

Really useful stuff. Plus they have weekly assignments that you can execute and upload for feedback.

Capturing light is what photography is all about. This has interesting setups for different kind of shots. You can download the Visio/PSD formats for reference. I intend to use them a lot for my glamor shots and portraits.

Basics mostly and a bit of advanced stuff.

Well eventually everyone with a DSLR will need them.

Oh get the lighting-essentials DVD if you can from Don, it has some good lighting videos using everyday equipment (hot lights, foamcore boards etc.)

Yeah it seems pretty nice. I ll just have to order it and pray that it gets to me in one piece. Too many broken cds from amazon. But I just love the strobist web site.
